Route 21 Viaduct Replacement
This $103 million project entails replacement of the highway's viaduct and the adjoining ramps. Applegate is conducting on-site safety inspections for client Union Paving to ensure OSHA compliance.

Newark Airport Monorail - NEC Connection
Extension of the airport's Monorail system to connect with Amtrak and NJ Transit trains. Applegate developed the safety program for this project. In addition, site-specific subjects were addressed including confined space entry procedures, track training, LockOut/TagOut procedures, and fall protection. Weekly unannounced site inspections assured regulatory compliance.

E-Z Pass Installation - NJ Turnpike and GS Parkway
Clients Railroad Construction Co. and Lighting Service Electric Corp. used Applegate to write the site-specific safety program and train all management personnel in safe work practices for this project. Applegate also conducted random inspections for the duration of the project.
